When I am bored I..: Listen to Mukeshji's love songs & eat Biriyani……which is often……but does not affect my weight….as I have to maintain my figure!

The book I would love to go to bed with: Any book of Paplo Neruda or translated version of Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam…..this is a weighty issue!

The movie scene I want to be in..: Soooooo many scenes... to start with last scene of Izzazat the role played by Rekha & then the last scene of Pretty Woman played by Julia Roberts also Bengali movie Ayi poth jodi na shesh hoye, Saptapadi & sooooo many more…like SRK said Picture abhi baki hai mere dost.

Your personal motto: Don't bother me I won't bother you!

Describe your achievements / any awards etc.: Acted in one of the lead cast of a Bengali film Bini shutor mala directed by Jayashree Mukherjee. The movie was internationally acclaimed in International Women's Film Festival.

Mention memorable incidents in your RJing or professional life: This incident happened 4 days back on air. I had received an SMS from a man talking about his estranged wife. The wife on hearing the SMS being read out by me from her husband on the show for her, called me up to say that she was planning to be back with her husband after hearing his msg. I felt great that my show had got two people back again & I was happy for it.

When I am On-Air I am…: My listeners' confidante.

What do you enjoy most about your current job? : That I have got the show where I can play my kind of Retro music & reach it to my listeners too.

Life's "sabse filmi" moment: I met my guru Mr Amitabh Bachchan in Tollygunje studio, Kolkata & I was tongue tied, tied up in knots, dumbfounded & the end result I was still quiet when he said " Hello" & the maximum reaction that I could give at that point was to have tears in my eyes! ( khushi ke aason !).

Interests and hobbies: Love to collect old LP records…..trying to make a collector's edtion…..whatever that means! I love acting …..real & reel...(wink).
